About
Summer Explorers
Every Sunday | 27 July – 31 August | 11am–1pm
| Booking Essential | Ages 3+ | Max 40 per session
Get ready for a wild summer of nature, creativity and curiosity! Join us for a fun-filled Sunday as we explore the hidden wonders of the natural world through hands-on discovery, creative crafts and tasty campfire treats.
Each Natural Wonders session will invite young explorers and their families to uncover the magic of insects, plants, and wildlife — learning how bugs, bees, and other pollinators play a vital role in our ecosystem.
Explore the Garden:
Roam freely between activity stations scattered around our beautiful garden — try your hand at bug hunting with pooters and sweep nets, follow your nose along the sensory herb trail, or leave your mark at the footprint station. You’ll discover bones and skulls at the Table of Curiosity, test your observation skills on a mindfulness scavenger hunt, and meet the busy bees that help our plants grow.
Get Creative:
Drop in to our craft zone where each week brings a different eco-inspired project to make and take home! From seed bombs and bird feeders to fossil casting and rain sticks — there’s something for every budding artist and nature lover.
Campfire Cook-Up:
Gather round our central fire for a taste of the wild! Each week we’ll be cooking up delicious garden-inspired treats.
Tickets are free thanks to support from the National Lottery Community Fund.
