The English Riviera is home to some of the UK’s best restaurants, with multi award-winning celebrity chefs such as Simon Hulstone, owner and head chef of The Elephant in Torquay. The first restaurant in Torquay to be awarded a Michelin star in 2005, it has maintained its rating every year ever since. Simon and his talented team provide the ultimate fine dining experience with ingredients and seasonal products grown and reared on their farm in Brixham. Simon has attained many prestigious industry accolades during his career including World Junior titles, the Roux Scholarship and Captain of the British team during the Culinary Olympics and Culinary World Cup, as well as being a familiar face on TV cookery programmes.

The area is also known as England’s Seafood Coast, with Rockfish Brixham and Rockfish Torquay playing a central part. Owned and run by seafood expert and award-winning chef, Mitch Tonks, Rockfish offers affordable, sustainable, high-quality fish and seafood, caught daily by the Rockfish fishing boat, and sourced from nearby Brixham fish market. Mitch is a Seafood Ambassador, known for his TV series, Mitch and Matt’s Big Fish! and appearances on Sunday Brunch, Saturday Kitchen, podcasts and author of speciality cookbooks.
