This breathtaking route takes guests to Elberry Cove, one of Agatha’s favourite beaches with its renowned aqua blue waters. From here, we walk to Churston church, a place where Agatha regularly worshipped, past Churston Court where Agatha often dined with Lord Churston after the service and via Churston train station (ABC Murders). Through Galmpton village, we follow the beautiful Dart estuary and arrive at Greenway, Agatha’s summer home (Five Little Pigs, Ordeal by Innocence and Dead Man’s Folly) before catching a ferry to Dartmouth on the River Dart, one of the most scenic rivers in Britain. Disembarking in Dartmouth, guests will be taken on a short tour of the town and discover its connections to Agatha, before taking the ferry across the Dart to Kingswear and the bus back to the starting point.
Walk along the lane where Sir Carmichael Clarke is murdered in the ABC Murders
Cross the golf course that was the inspiration for Agatha’s third novel, Murder on the Links.
See the beautiful stained glass window that Agatha commissioned for Churston church.
Pass Galmpton primary school where Agatha was a governess and presented an annual writing prize
Walk through the Greenway estate, where guests will see her beautiful croquet lawn and the battery wall, which was the scene of the murder in Five Little Pigs.
