2026 is shaping up to be an exciting year for English Riviera tourism and hospitality, with the ERBID’s marketing and PR activities working to strengthen the destination’s profile.

Summer 2026 will also be a key moment for businesses, when local tourism and hospitality enterprises will vote by ballot on a proposed third term of the English Riviera Business Improvement District (ERBID).  The ballot comes at a time when the destination continues to invest in its profile and visitor economy, with a focus on maintaining visibility, supporting businesses and building on the foundations already in place.

From a visitor perspective, the year ahead features a jam-packed, year-round events schedule that helps drive footfall, extend the season and encourage repeat visits. The ERBID’s robust programme of TV and digital marketing, alongside a proactive PR strategy, will continue to showcase the destination nationally and internationally.  A major highlight will be in June, when the English Riviera hosts the ICF SUP World Cup - the first time this global event has been staged in the UK.  Explore What's On on the official English visitor website here.

Together, these elements position 2026 as a bright year ahead for the English Riviera and the businesses at its heart.
