With the number one top search term on Google, all BID levy-payers and BID voluntary contributors automatically have a standard web page on the official English Riviera website, with the ability to edit your own page.  If you would like more exposure, you can invest in any of the following website advertising options to raise your profile and drive more direct traffic to your own business.

How to Book

HERO IMAGE

• Be the first thing that a user will see when they land on the page. On a desktop, the Hero Image takes up the entire space above the fold, and on mobile a significant portion of the screen. The image will have a caption at the bottom with your business name, and a link that can go directly to your chosen URL.
• Example above at the top of this page.
• Spec: 1920 x 1080px – image only. We will not accept graphics or logos on these images.
• Price:

FEATURED BOX

• Showcase your business in a Featured Box on a website page of your choice. These Featured Boxes spaces appear on every page, usually just below the Hero Image, and are a natural part of the navigation on site. This includes an image, words and a link to your chosen URL.

  • Image Spec: 475 x 280px.
  • Text: maximum 160 characters.

SPECIAL HOME PAGE OR NEW CAMPAIGN PAGE FEATURED BOX

• As above with the Featured Box appearing on the home page of the website.  This is the main page that viewers land on when visiting www.englishriviera.co.uk.  Or, choose the new Campaign page where traffic will be driven to from the new 2025 marketing campaigns, including TV advertising.

SQUARE BANNERS

• A more traditional and obvious banner that appears halfway down the page on desktop, but take up a large proportion of the screen on mobile.

• Top tips: We recommend keeping the banner design simple with a clear message to improve your performance. One image with a few words of text overlaid, or a limited colour palette graphic with a logo and few words of text is ideal for increasing your click-through rates.

Competition

• Want your competition or giveaway to reach a bigger audience? Promote them on the English Riviera Competitions page.

• Please note: You are in charge of your competitions, you host the entrance forms, manage the data lists, arrange the T&C’s and organise the winner. The ERBID are solely promoters of the competition, with an image, text and a referral link to your competition URL.

E-Newsletter Banner

Promote your business in the English Riviera monthly newsletter targeting over 30,000 subscribers.

• All payments for additional advertising must be made on time and within 30 days of being invoiced by the ERBID. Late payments will result in advertising being removed. 
• All quoted prices will be subject to VAT. 
• Any advert or competition advertised is solely the responsibility of the business booking the advertising in terms of their own terms and conditions and not the ERBID Company. 
• All content (visual and copy) is the responsibility of the business booking the advertising.
• The business booking the advertising is responsible for design costs and content needs to be supplied in the format requested. 
• The ERBID Company reserves the right to refuse any advert content if for any reason it is considered that it may damage the reputation of the English Riviera brand. 
• The ERBID Company reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any of these offers, at any time.
