English Riviera Air Show

The English Riviera Airshow, originally called The Torbay Airshow, is an annual two-day air display show designed to act as a Headline event, as a significant element of the local authority’s strategy to become the Premier Resort in the UK and grow the tourism offer for the benefit of the local economy. The event has taken place since 2016 on the first weekend in June and is typically the first time that the Red Arrows fly in their annual programme. The event is owned by Torbay Council and the ERBID Company is currently a headline sponsor because of the media attention that it attracts. Attracting more overnight stays with visitors to the Air Show ‘Making a Weekend of It’ is currently the focus of the ERBID Company.
