About
Stitching Christmas together
In the spirit of the season, we're inviting everyone to take part and create a community crocheted Christmas tree. If you visit Greenway between now and 1 November, feel free to pick up a 'patchwork pack' with instructions and wool to help crochet your square. Once you're done, you can drop it back to us here at Greenway or pop by:
- ‘A Kick Up The Arts’ Art Gallery at 6 Bolton Street, Brixham
If you're a dab hand at home, or part of a crafty crocheting or keen knitting group and fancy getting your group involved, you can join in the fun from home by downloading Greenway's Big Christmas Stitch Up pack here or email us at greenway@nationaltrust.org.uk to find out more.
If you'd like to be involved but aren't local to Greenway, and would like to post your crocheted square to us, we'd be thrilled to receieve them. You can send your crafted piece to: Greenway's Big Christmas Stitch Up, National Trust Greenway, Brixham, Devon, TQ5 0ES.
If you have more time, we're holding two drop in sessions outside of normal opening hours where you can have a social crafting morning or sit and learn how to crochet. Pop by on Friday 6 November and Monday 9 November. Refreshments provided, with extra hooks and wool. Spaces will be limited, so booking is essential > Christmas crochet workshop
