About
Family Fun Day at Newton Abbot Racecourse
Get into the Halloween spirit with a fun-filled day out at Newton Abbot Racecourse on Wednesday 28 October, as the racecourse rounds off its 2026 season with a special Family Fun Day.
Alongside an afternoon of exciting jump racing, there will be plenty to keep younger visitors entertained, with Halloween-themed activities including pumpkin carving, a fancy dress parade and lots of family fun throughout the day. It's a chance to enjoy the atmosphere of a real race day while giving the children plenty to see and do.
And the fun doesn't stop when the racing finishes! For a fantastic-value family day out, visitors can take advantage of a special combined racing and Circus Funtasia ticket. Enjoy the racing first, with the first race at 1.51pm, then head straight over to the circus for the 5pm show.
With racing, Halloween activities and a spectacular circus all on the same day, this is a great way to make the most of the October half-term and enjoy a memorable family day out in Devon.
Gates open: 11.51am
First race: 1.51pm
Last race: 4.21pm
Circus Funtasia: 5pm
Tickets are available in advance, including the special combined racing and circus ticket, with adult tickets from £24 and child tickets from just £5.
