Discover the creative world of relief printing in this engaging one-day workshop led by artist Alexandra Robb. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this hands-on session will guide you through the essential techniques needed to create a striking one-colour linocut design.
What You Will Learn:
• How to select and reverse a simple design for printing.
• Techniques for transferring images and carving safely into a lino block.
• Inking and printing using a professional printing press.
• Advice on how to continue printing at home with basic equipment.
What to Bring: Participants are encouraged to bring their own sketches or reference photos for inspiration, though plenty of source material will be provided on the day. By the end of the session, you will leave with a small edition of your own prints and your carved block to use again in the future.
