Getting married underground in Kents Cavern is a wonderful experience and will provide your guests with an unusual and lasting memory of your special day.

As the first licensed showcave in the UK to perform weddings we’ve experienced lots of fantastic and different weddings in the cave. Our team will be with you throughout organising your special day, tailoring it to your needs. We are able to offer five separate and spectacular underground locations for civil marriages and partnership ceremonies. Each chamber is a unique venue and offers a different aspect of our underground world.

The Inscription Chamber - High ceilings with a stone waterfall dominating this chamber deep in the caves. Holds up to 30 guests

The Vestibule - The largest chamber with a stalagmite chandelier formation just inside the entrance. Holds up to 100 guests (with wheel chair access)

The Great Chamber - A large chamber at the exit to the cave decorated with display scenes of early explorers and Stone Age life. Holds up to 100 guests

The Rocky Chamber - An intimate chamber deep in the cave with the backdrop of the Wedding Cake formation. Holds up to 30 guests

The Bears' Den - In a more challenging part of the cave, this chamber echoes to the sound of falling water. Holds up to 40 guests
