About
Perched high above one of Devon’s most beautiful bays, our scenic coastal restaurant in Torquay serves fresh, simple gastro-style dishes in the historic setting of our seaside Inn.
From Lyme Bay lobster and our special catch of the day to grass-fed Devon beef, our menus showcase the region’s finest flavours. Inspired by the local land and sea, we offer a range of mouthwatering dishes from lunch until late, catering to all requirements.
Join us at lunchtime for casual bar-service dining or enjoy our evening table service. In the warmer months, our outdoor tables and private dining areas offer some of the best sea views in Devon.
Food is served between 12.00 - 2.45 pm and 6.30 - 8.45 pm each day. Our Devon restaurant is very popular so booking is always recommended.
From field to fork and sea to table, our produce travels as little as possible, ensuring the very best culinary experience at our restaurant in Devon.
Whether seated at a cosy nook in the bar or outside in the open air, a table at the Cary Arms promises some of the best coastal views in the county, and we’re proud to be amongst the top restaurants in Devon.
Our dining spaces include the relaxed, informal surroundings of our 19th-century Inn, the private Wheel House, the ocean-facing Conservatory, the panoramic sea view sun garden terraces, our breathtaking outdoor Captain’s Table and glass Pod and last but not least, the secluded BBQ terrace with cocktail bar.
Expect rustic stone walls, beamed ceilings, huge windows, cosy fires and showstopping sea views.
Dogs are welcome in the main restaurant and our outdoor dining areas.
