About
The Railway Inn, Churston Ferrers, Brixham. A delightful Grade II Listed Building with Accommodation, Dining, separate Bar and plenty of outside seating overlooking the quaint Steam Railway. Serving refreshments since the 1700’s.
Over the year’s it’s been known as Churston Golf Club – Harris’s Hotel; Churston Links Hotel, The Railway Hotel, The Weary Ploughman. In September 2019 the building was renamed “The Railway Inn” when Donna & Phil McCann purchased and the inside has been themed along those lines, including an Agatha Christie Corner – where she was often seen sat waiting for a train penning her next novel!
A warm & friendly Devon Inn with 6 en-suite Bedrooms, huge outdoor seating & Car Park. Fantastic food to suit everyone & Sunday Lunch is a MUST! Local produce is sourced where possible - including Dartmoor Wild Venison, Brixham fresh fish & crab, mussels & local meat with local Real Ales, good wine and premium Gins & Spirits.
Conveniently situated on the main road to Brixham, adjacent to the Churston Railway Station (Dartmouth Steam Railway), opposite Churston Golf Club. Agatha Christie’s house is close-by & the Tour Bus collects right outside! Easy access to South West Coast path.
