A coastal escape inspired by the Queen of Crime
Step into the pages of history and mystery with a two-night literary escape on the English Riviera.
Follow in the footsteps of Agatha Christie — from the elegant seafronts of Torquay to her beloved Greenway House on the River Dart. This curated stay combines storytelling, stunning scenery, and seaside luxury, bringing you closer to the life and legacy of the world’s most famous crime writer.

The Details
Start your experience in Torquay (Agatha Christie's place of birth) where our local tour guide Graham Kerr from English Riviera Walking tours will take you on her cultural journey highlighting the ebb and flow of her extraordinary life.
We then invite you to discover the stunning National Trust Greenway House located in Galmpton where Agatha spent most of her summer holidays and felt inspired by the true beauty of the majestic gardens overlooking the River Dart.
What's Included:
A 2-night stay with breakfast each morning
A Devonian cream tea on arrival
A 2-hour guided walk in Torquay with local guide Graham Kerr (Guided Tours Torquay - English Riviera Walking Tours) retracing her extraordinary life
A single taxi fare to the start of the walk on Vaughan Parade*
A self-guided visit of Greenway, the beloved home of Agatha Christie Greenway with a “Meet and Greet” from Belinda Smith, the visitor experience Manager**
A novel the “Dead’s Man Folly” autographed by Agatha Christie’s grandson Matthew Pritchard
A three-course 1920’s themed candle-lit dinner at The Cary Arms

Booking Details
The walk with Graham Kerr will take place at 10am and visit to Greenway in the afternoon.
From £135 per person per night in Luxury Seaview Room
From £162.50 per person per night in a Beach Hut
Please note that if you’re a National Trust member your entry to Greenway House is free of charge, if you are not a member there will be a £16.95 charge per person.
We will require 48 hours booking notice. Normal T&C’s apply.
