Step behind the lens of the English Riviera
As part of our Strata Stories exhibition for the 2026 Geopark Festival, we're hosting an exclusive evening of cinema and conversation.
Join us as we welcome acclaimed local filmmaker John Tomkins to the gallery. We'll be screening a series of his films commissioned for the UNESCO Global Geopark—capturing the raw beauty, culture, and deep-time heritage of our bay.
After the films, stay for a Fireside Chat;! Resident artist/geologist Grace Clifford will sit down with John and a panel of guest speakers to discuss the challenges and triumphs of filming our dramatic coastal environments.
