Fireball  Open Meeting

Paignton SC is looking forward to hosting a combined open meeting for Fireballs, Ospreys and Merlin Rockets. 

Paignton Sailing Club is renowned for hosting high profile events with an enviable record, superb facilities and equipment, and a world-class Race Management team. The club itself is located on the Paignton Harbour and has plenty of parking within walking distance. It is only a short distance away from Paignton beach, from where the dinghies will be launched, allowing us to launch during any tide state into the sheltered waters of Tor Bay.

At Paignton Sailing Club we welcome and encourage new members of all ages. Whether you are an individual or family, novice or expert, if you want to sail all year round or just want a temporary membership, we do our very best accommodate you. so why not Join Us?

We all work closely to provide opportunities for budding sailors of all ages to enjoy the sea, developing sailing skills for both cruising and racing. We want you to become a real part of the club, participate in our social events to create and maintain friendships…and get a bit competitive on the water too!

Even if you don’t sail, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the running of the club through volunteering to help on safety boats, race management, the junior club or in the galley. There are also one-off opportunities to help with big events such as the National Championships.

Paignton Sailing Club is a club run by the members for the members so members input is essential. All club members are requested to undertake Volunteer Contribution helping out with duties, contributing their time and skills. We make sure you feel it is worth it!
