About
Based at the stunningly sandy and gently sloping, Blue Flag awarded Broadsands Beach the watersports centre was founded in 2009 and continues to go from strength to strength.
Family run and borne from a passion for all things sporty and outdoors and our love for surfing, skiing (both Alpine and Nordic), cycling, sailing and all things water-based the centre offers a great location to get out on the beautiful sheltered waters of the Geopark area of Torbay.
Ever thought of taking your dog out with you kayaking or paddleboarding in Torbay? …well here at Broadsands Beach Watersports Centre we can even provide you with a buoyancy aid for your ‘pooch’. We have XS, small and medium sizes so you really can see if your doggie can paddle.
Kayaking, canoeing and stand up Paddleboarding at Broadsands Beach. BCU qualified staff, lifeguard always on duty. Tuition available. Kayak tours.
Open from Beginning of April until the end of October from early until late (as we pride ourselves on being open till 8 / 9pm when the weather is good)

We are proud members of British Canoeing (formerly British Canoe Union). British Canoeing are the national governing body for paddlesports in the UK. We want to support and provide opportunities for everyone to enjoy and realise their potential within all aspects of canoeing regardless of their age, background or ability.
