St Weonards Hotel

A stay at St Weonards Hotel will set your dog’s tail wagging. St Weonards is a pet-friendly establishment, ideally situated within the heart of Paignton and conveniently close to the town centre shops for all your doggy toys, pet food supplies and parlour treatments. Goodrington Sands (North Sands) is an all year-round dog-friendly beach which can be easily accessed from St Weonards, offering breath-taking coastal views along the way at Paignton Harbour and Roundham Head.  The hotel has everything that you need for a comfortable stay including well-equipped spacious rooms and free Wi-Fi. A cleaning charge applies at the end of the stay for guests with pets.

The Commodore

The Commodore offers comfortable and pleasant surroundings for dog lovers and a prominent seafront location convenient for accessing the dog-friendly beaches and local amenities. Fully trained and well-behaved dogs can accompany owners into the dining room during serving times, and a dog bag containing blankets, towels and bowls to use during the stay is provided.  Owners can use the water tap and hose outside the premises to wash down and dry their dog before entering, and this is especially useful after a day of exploring the beaches and woodland areas close by. The Commodore has a maximum 2 dogs in a room policy and a charge per dog per day applies.

St Edmunds Guest House

Dogs are accepted at St Edmunds with prior arrangement and they even get a special sausage treat for breakfast that they can enjoy on the porch or conservatory area.  Other than at mealtimes they can’t be left unsupervised in the guest rooms. Pets can stay for free during the holiday and the owners reserve the right to charge for the full cost of any damage or professional cleaning that may be necessary during or after a stay. There’s a sunny garden and patio which the dogs can use. Don’t forget to bring along your pooch’s favourite feeding bowls, bedding and toys to make them really feel at home during their break away with you.

Wentworth Guest House

Situated in the very popular district of Goodrington and close to the natural habitat of Youngs Park, Wentworth Guest House has one double room, located at ground floor and road level which is suitable for a small to medium sized, well-behaved dog and its owners. The room has its own front entrance giving easy and quick access, if needed to the park opposite. This is an ideal base to explore the dog-friendly beach at Goodrington Sands (North Sands) and the local nature reserve at Saltern Cove, an area made up of sand, shingle and rocks and designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
