Edwina Black is dead; but her spirit still pervades the dark house in which she lived. A policeman calls to inform the household that Edwina’s funeral is to be postponed, pending further enquiries, as it appears that she did not die from natural causes.
As more evidence comes to light, suspicion falls not only on Edwina’s husband and her companion – but also on her loyal housekeeper – before the horrifying, beyond-the-grave, truth is finally revealed…
