About

This event sells out very quickly. So don’t miss out, book early to avoid disappointment

Join us for a boat trip around the Bay, passing beaches and locations loved by Agatha or featured in her works. Why not dress in your best detective outfits, as there’s sure to be a mystery to solve along the way. We will also be pointing out locations around the coast with an Agatha Christie link. There will also be period music, a fully stocked lounge bar and some fantastic views on this evening cruise.

We will be aboard the Dart Venturer, a large vessel with a capacity of 300. However, to keep things really exclusive, we will be offering just 150 places, to allow guests to socialise both inside and out and perhaps even enjoy a little dance. In the event of rough seas, we will remain inside the harbour but still enjoy a party fit for a queen (of crime).

6.30pm – 8.30pm. Leaving from Departure Point E on Beacon Quay, Torquay, TQ1 2BG (by Below Decks Café). What3Words text.tinsel.moment

Information

Getting to the venue

Beacon Quay is right on Torquay waterfront and close to the harbour. It is easily reachable on foot from most places around the town.

The nearest car park is Beacon Quay Car Park. Find out more.

Accessibility

For safe access a small degree of mobility is needed by everyone.

Due to the jetty and vessel design, people who use wheelchairs must be able to walk, (assisted if necessary), for a few steps for access at boarding gates since crews are not permitted to lift occupied wheel chairs.

Each disabled person should be accompanied by a person who is able to help if there is an emergency on board.

They regret that motorised wheelchairs and scooters are not normally permitted on board due to their weight and bulk which may obstruct the safe movement of passengers. But do check with the operator ahead of booking a ticket.

The total number of wheelchairs permitted on board is at the discretion of the Master of the vessel (normally one per trip) and will vary depending upon the weather.
