Torre Abbey once again swings open its ancient garden gates after hours, inviting families to experience a spine-tingling yet family-friendly Halloween adventure like no other.

This October half term, step into the eerie world of The Abbey After Dark, where shadows stir and ghostly figures roam. As night falls, brave visitors will journey through a creepy trail filled with spooky encounters, haunting illuminations and hair-raising special effects.

From Tuesday 27 October to Saturday 31 October, Torre Abbey's gardens will transform into a chilling spectacle of history, mystery and Halloween fun. Set within the atmospheric grounds of one of Torbay's most historic landmarks, this unique after-dark experience combines spooky entertainment with a truly unforgettable setting.

Whether you're introducing little ones to Halloween fun or bringing along seasoned thrill-seekers, there's something for everyone.

What to Expect

• A spooky trail through the gardens featuring immersive storytelling
• Ghosts, ghouls and surprises around every corner
• Halloween-themed treats and frightful games

Fancy dress is highly encouraged!

Please wrap up warm, wear suitable footwear and bring a torch to help guide your way around the trail. This event will go ahead in wet weather. Refunds will only be issued if Torre Abbey is required to cancel the event due to severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Earlier sessions at 16:30 and 17:00 are ideal for under 5s or those who prefer a gentler experience before full darkness sets in.
