About
New for 2026 is The English Riviera Race. It's on a completely closed road circuit around the centre of Torquay. The surface is smooth tarmac & the lap is exactly 5K. The course is pretty flat but there are a couple of rises each lap to keep it interesting. Total elevation is approximately 47m per 5km lap. The 10K course is two laps & you'll get time splits for each lap in the results.
A UK Athletics Licence has been applied for. The course will be accurately measured and run under UK athletics rules with results appearing on Power of 10.
The course start and finish is on the road right next to Torre Abbey Meadows, Torquay. It then follows the sea front west towards Preston before turning at approximately 2.4km and retracing to complete a loop around the back of Torre Abbey.
