Torquay Armed Forces Day 2026 will take place on Saturday, 4th July 2026. It will be held in St Marychurch, Torquay.
The event will be held for any serving members of the armed forces, as well as military Veterans of the Torquay area, and any local people of St Marychurch and Torquay who wish to attend. This event is facilitated by the Torquay Armed Forces Veterans Breakfast Club, who were formed in September 2025.
The Remembrance Parade and Service held in St Marychurch in November 2025 was attended by local schools and clubs, and reached over 23,000 views on local social media platforms, which shows there is a desire to support the Armed Forces in the local area. The Drumhead Service will also include representation from local schools, scouts, etc, to join in the celebration.

The event will consist of the following:
11.30 am – 12 pm meet at the Dolphin, St Marychurch (form a parade)
March from the Dolphin up St Marychurch High Street to St Mary’s Church – accompanied by a piper and drummer
12.15 pm Drumhead Service to be conducted by Father Nick of St Mary’s Church
1.00 pm March from St Mary’s Church down St Marychurch High Street to the Dolphin
1.30 pm Ticketed BBQ at The Dolphin
2.30 pm – 3.30 pm Open Mic Session
3.30 pm – 5 pm Live music from local band – Harbour
