Torbay Council own 37 car parks across Torquay, Paignton and Brixham which provide around 7500 parking spaces across the three towns. 

All the car parks and on street parking in Torbay can be paid for by using RingGo. This lets you pay for parking by using your mobile phone, either by downloading the app before your visit or by calling the RingGo number displayed on the pay machines. By entering the number of the car park, which can be found by each pay machine, into the app or by calling the RingGo number you will be able to start and stop your parking. You can also purchase a 4 day and 8 day permit using this system. The RingGo app is available on Apple and Android and more information on how to use the app and how to purchase the longer sessions can be found on Torbay Councils website.

If you do not have a mobile phone you can still pay for parking using a contactless card at some machines or by using cash.

Car Parking for Disabled Drivers

Disabled blue badge holders do not currently receive free parking in Car Parks. Torbay Council offers a free yearly disabled parking permit to blue badge holders who are eligible. Please contact Parking Services team on 01803 207653 for further details.

On Street parking

Disabled blue badge holders are permitted to park on street on a yellow line restriction (providing there is no loading ban in place at the location) for up to 3 hours ensuring that the badge and time clock are displayed correctly and no obstruction is being caused. When parking in a limited waiting bay disabled drivers are able to park for as long as required providing that again the blue badge is displayed correctly. Blue badge holders can park free of charge at street pay and display bays (parking meters) and can stay for an unlimited amount of time.
