The Sleep Walk is back!

After a short break, our much-loved Sleep Walk returns with a new route on Saturday 20 June 2026 from 6pm – and we couldn’t be more excited! 

Take on an eight-mile coastal route (around 15,000 steps!) through Torquay and Paignton, soaking up the sea views, sunset and the buzz of walking with hundreds of fellow Sleep Walkers –  all while raising vital funds for the hospice. 

Making every step count

This is more than a walk. It’s a celebration of life.

Highlights include:

🌅 An eight-mile coastal sunset walk starting at 6pm on 20 June – the summer solstice

🎶 A lively Bingo Bangers warm up with 80s and 90s tunes, plus glitter station and prizes

💜 A reflective Lights of Love moment at Roundham Head

🍹 A mocktail and sweet treat at Cantina Goodrington, plus finish-line celebrations with a Sleep Walk memento, bacon butties, and podium photos

🎧 Music from DJs Mike & Ben McGowan, plus afterparty celebrations at Cantina Torquay

Feel-good tunes, steps and a sunset walk

Get ready for an upbeat party atmosphere and a real sense of togetherness to kick off the evening!

Starting and finishing at the Riviera International Centre, expect a fabulous warm-up from Bingo Bangers with 80s and 90s tunes and feel-good energy to prepare you for the walk. Plus, there will be the chance to win some prizes! 

This year, the Sleep Walk falls on the summer solstice –  the longest day of the year. So why not embrace the solstice spirit with bright colours, flower crowns, and ribbons? A glitter station will also be available at the start to help add a little sparkle to the evening. 

Moments of reflection and celebration

Pause for a short while and reflect at our magical Lights of Love moment at Roundham Head.

Midway through the walk, participants will be invited to light an LED candle in memory of loved ones — a moving tribute that grows brighter with every walker who takes part. 

After this, refuel with a mocktail and a sweet treat, enjoy music and party vibes at Cantina Goodrington, before heading back to the Riviera International Centre, where you’ll be cheered over the finish line and welcomed with a well-deserved Sleep Walk memento, a bacon butty, a podium photo moment and music. And if you’re not quite ready for the night to end there, you can finish the night at Cantina Torquay where the celebrations will continue! 

DJs Mike & Ben McGowan will provide the soundtrack for the night at the Riviera International Centre, Cantina Goodrington and Cantina Torquay.
