About
THIS EVENT IS PART OF THE AGATHA CHRISTIE FESTIVAL
Our celebration of the 100-year legacy of The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, continues with a talk by good friend of the Festival, David Morris. In a richly illustrated talk, David, of CollectingChristie.com, traces the novel's extraordinary journey from its original publication in 1926, when its bold narrative revolutionized detective fiction, to its recognition by the Crime Writers' Association as the "Best Crime Novel of All Time". Fresh insights into its publication history as well as its adaptations for stage, screen and radio will be shared. Delivered spoiler-free, this event is essential for anyone fascinated by the enduring power of a single, shocking story that continues to captivate readers and audiences worldwide.
