The Elephant X Pier Point: One-Night-Only Seafood Collaboration in Aid of The Fishermen’s Mission

Two of Torbay’s most celebrated restaurants – The Elephant and Pier Point Bar & Restaurant – are joining forces for a unique one-night-only seafood collaboration on Tuesday 25th November 2025. The event will bring together two very different, yet equally passionate, champions of local seafood: a Michelin-starred restaurant that has proudly retained its star for 20 years, and an award-winning seafront restaurant recognised in the National Fish & Chip Awards.

Despite their different settings, both restaurants share the same philosophy: sustainability, quality, and a deep respect for the local fishing communities of England’s Seafood Coast.

A Celebration with Purpose

Priced at £39.95 per person, the evening begins with a prosecco & Bays Brewery reception, followed by a sharing platter showcasing a trio of seafood favourites – Cajun Whiting Rillette, Coley Slider, and Tempura Torbay Sole. The main course, Fillet of Hake with crab hollandaise, curried scraps, coriander oil, spicy rice and mango, champions one of the English Riviera’s most underused yet delicious species. To finish, guests will enjoy a Lemon Sherbet Donut with citrus crème and raspberry sorbet.

All proceeds from the evening go to The Fishermen’s Mission.
