Splashdown Quaywest comes alive this Christmas as the Paignton waterpark is set to feature their first ever winter event with two Christmas Market weekends.

Instead of slides and swimsuits think snowflakes and sparkly things as local stallholders will be bringing their Christmas gift and craft items and there will be children’s activities, food and drink stands and entertainment provided by Cameron Mills Group, the UK’s award-winning creative hub for music, media, and drama.

This new event is key to making Goodrington a vibrant, year-round destination, creating something special for the local community to enjoy as well as summer visitors.

“We are excited to be bringing the first of what we hope will be a number of fun events that will take place out of waterpark season, the Christmas Market Weekends and Festive Fridays, will we hope bring vibrancy, community spirit, and holiday cheer to locals and visitors alike.”  says Group Marketing Director and waterpark co-owner, Jackie Richmond  “We love Goodrington and want to make it a focus for people both in the summer and beyond, creating something for our local community to enjoy. We hope this event will be something that we can grow year on year.”

Goodrington Christmas Market Weekends:

Quaywest Christmas Market

• When: Saturday, December 13th & Sunday, December 14th, and Saturday, December 20th & Sunday, December 21st, 2025.
• Time: 11:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• What to Expect: A curated selection of 30+ local craft stalls and unique gift items, perfect for last-minute Christmas shopping, alongside delicious food and drink options, entertainment, and children's activities.

Attendance for all Christmas Market Weekends is completely free of charge.

Warm Up with Festive Fridays

To complement the market, Goodrington is also introducing Festive Fridays, offering cozy winter warmers served directly from the Quaywest Snack Shack:
