About
The popular Cockington Court Sculpture Trail, which sees contemporary sculptures appear around the grounds of Cockington Court is set to return for 2025, opening to the public from 20th July – 2nd November.
Building on the creativity and enthusiasm shown for our ‘Pirate’ theme last year and ‘Space’ the year before, this year’s pre-historic theme promises a stunning display around our creative site.
Artists are encouraged to allow their imagination to go wild and to use a wide variety of materials when designing a sculpture. Our pre-historic theme can be interpreted broadly, including anything from fossils and cave paintings to dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures!
The sculpture trail attracts hundreds of visitors including art and culture enthusiasts, as well as families and children to explore the trail. The trail is being delivered by Cockington Court Centre Director, and artist, Marissa Wakefield.
