Don’t miss the Italian Gardens, which form part of Abbey Park and Meadows. Here you’ll find a charming pond with fountain and water rock garden.

The park opened in 1924, the pond and water rock garden, both original features, have undergone a significant makeover in recent years. There has been a total replant of the rock garden and surrounding borders, as well as the installation of a new fountain and new lighting. the show-piece of the park is the Italian Gardens which displays a fine collection of Torbay palms. Admission is free and the gardens are open daily, all year around. There is disabled access and the gardens are accessible by public transport.
