About
THE FAWLTY TOURS WALKING EXPERIENCE
One of the greatest British sitcoms of all time was set in Torquay!
Fawlty Towers was and remains Comedy Gold. 50 years ago the British public were introduced to Basil, Sybil, Manuel & Polly and we took them to our hearts. Only 12 episodes were made, which have been shown all over the world, including Germany! And now you have the opportunity to hear the story of Fawlty Towers on our hilarious tour. There are plenty of laugh-out-loud moments as we recreate some of the funniest moments from this classic show. Customer participation is encouraged!
The Tour Highlights:
- Discover how a stay at a Torquay hotel gave John Cleese and Connie Booth the inspiration to write Fawlty Towers
- Hear how the characters were created
- We'll talk about the hotel's dodgy sign posts
- But don't mention the war!
