If you plan to hold your civil ceremony here, you’ll need to contact the Registrar directly to arrange your desired date. You can book your Registrar up to a year ahead: it’s worth remembering that most couples book their room here at least six months in advance.
Our spa has four beauty rooms offering Decléor treatments. We have special bridal packages for your wedding day and our spa packages are a perfect treat for yourself, your bridesmaids or a hen party to remember.
The foundation stone of The Imperial Torquay was laid by the wife of Sir Lawrence Vaughan, Palk Bart in March 1864, two years later on November 3rd 1866 the hotel opened as a fifty bedroom deluxe establishment. Offering unrivalled accommodation for “gentlemen and families”.

From the M5 - exit at Jct 31 onto the A38. Continue onto the A380 signposted Torquay. Follow the signs onto the A3022 (signposted seafront) and on reaching the seafront road turn left signposted harbour. At the monument roundabout take the second exit right onto Victoria Parade. The marina will now be on your right. Bear left and uphill onto Beacon Hill and onto Park Hill Park Road. The hotel entrance is 2nd on the right.
Hotel is 0.5 miles from Torquay train station. From Torquay town centre bus numbers 62 & 64 stop outside the hotel.
