The English Riviera is surrounded by stunning coast and countryside. Torquay, Babbacombe, Paignton and Brixham offer fantastic all year round activities and things to do.

We are most famous for our award winning beaches and exotic palm trees and many more attractions than any other resort in the UK. There is a great selection of boat trips and tasty local food. Torquay is the birthplace of crime writer Agatha Christie. Along the 22 miles of the English Riviera coastline are 20 beaches from wide sandy stretches to hidden rocky coves, including Oddicombe and its Cliff Railway Goodrington Beach is mainly sandy with clean, calm waters which also has the popular Quaywest Water Park alongside.

A great day out include Torre Abbey, Torquay - Step through the ancient doors of Torre Abbey and uncover the story of one of the south west’s most fascinating restoration projects and don't forget the Potent Plants in the gardens.

Kents Cavern - is one of Europe’s top prehistoric Stone Age caves with an extensive labyrinth of spectacular and easily accessible caverns open daily all year. Greenway House & Gardens, Kingswear - At the beloved holiday home of the famous and much-loved author Agatha Christie and her family. Paignton Zoo – Discover 2,000 animals over 80 acres. Twice the size of London zoo.

Babbacome Model Village – Britain’s largest and prettiest model village. Feel like a giant as you explore four acres of award winning gardens with beautiful streams, waterfalls and hundreds of model s and 13,000 miniature residents.

Steam Train and Boat Trip – “The round robin” is an award winning excursion. Catch the steam train from Paignton to Kingswear and then take the passenger ferry crossing to Dartmouth, a river cruise from Dartmouth to Totnes and finally a bus back to Paignton or Torquay.
