Torquay is the birthplace of crime writer Agatha Christie. Along the 22 miles of the English Riviera coastline are 20 beaches from wide sandy stretches to hidden rocky coves, including Oddicombe and its Cliff Railway Goodrington Beach is mainly sandy with clean, calm waters which also has the popular Quaywest Water Park alongside.
