Welcome to Hudson's Bay Holiday Apartments. This elegant Victorian townhouse, circa 1894, sits in a level location about 300 metres from the sea front, with easy access to Paignton's historical pier and harbour. Local shops, buses, multi-plex cinema, the Palace Theatre and, Dartmouth Steam Railway are just a short stroll away.
If you are travelling by train or National Express, the railway/bus stations are a short level walk away. Each apartment at Hudson's Bay is self contained, tastefully decorated and well equipped for your stay. All apartments have seperate bedrooms and are thoroughly checked and cleaned to the highest standard before you arrive.
Living areas are comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated to offer a relaxing stay each having a flat screen television with Free View and DVD player. All apartments have either central heating or storage heating for winter holidays.
All kitchens are complete with fridge, microwave and full size electric cooker. All crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are provided.
All beds are ready made for your arrival with white linen sheets. Double beds are 4'6'' and single beds are 3'.
Each apartment has its own elctric shower cubicle with hand basin, toilet and shaver facilities with The Riggings also offering a full sized bath.
On site laundry facilities available.
There is parking on site for one car per apartment, Four apartments have sea views and there are views of Torbay Gardens from the rear of the property. Guests have use of the garden and patio area.
Hudson's Bay is in the ideal location to explore the natural beauty of the South Devon coastline, with many picturesque seaside towns and villages and the beautiful countryside on offer in South Devon, including Dartmoor.
If it's historical interest you seek then nearby there are properties owned by the National Trust, one of the most recent being Greenway which was the holiday home of the famous Crime Writer Dame Agatha Christie, and English Heritage with its alleged haunted castles!
Guests can relax by the beach take an evening stroll along the promenade with its fantastic views across the Bay or simply watch the world go by from one of the many nearby cafes.
If it's more active pastimes you pursue then there is sea fishing, kayaking, sailing, spped boat rides, surf board hire, water park activity, tennis, coast path walks and lots more on offer.
