The beach is ideal for launching paddleboards or kayaks, and even a spot of fishing for your supper.
A 5 minute walk in one direction will take you to the beautiful cove and beach at Churston, and in the opposite direction, through Battery Gardens and along the coast path will take to the charismatic, harbour side cafes and restaurants at Brixham.
Enjoy a walk to the nature reserve at Berry Head, or drive into the village of Kingswear, just 4 miles, where you can hop aboard the steam train that will take you along the beautiful South Devon coastline to Paignton, or catch the ferry across The River Dart to the historic, maritime port of Dartmouth.
