The English Riviera Triathlon offers fast exciting spectator friendly racing in the centre of Torquay. It starts with a sea swim from sheltered Torre Abbey Sands beach. The Sprint bike is a fast & fairly flat 4K closed road bike circuit. For 2025 we’ve extended the Standard Bike course to 5K to make it an 8 lap bike which is easier for competitors to count.
The final single lap run is mostly flat on tarmac or pavement with great views of the sea.
Torre Abbey meadows provides ample space for a transition area on grass, a long barriered finish line, podium presentations & a small event village.
We also have open water swims.
Torre Abbey Sands & it has an excellent water quality record!
