A family fun on the foreshore event celebrating the uniqueness of crabs through a "dress your own" art experience.

First, meeting at the Cantina Kitchen and Bar, we'll have a brief introduction to the day before heading down to the Goodrington Sands to get some coastal inspiration for the day's creativity with a rock pooling fact sheet scavenger hunt.

Returning to Cantina, you'll start with a handmade crab shell base to paint, as well as the rest of the materials for preparing your crabs legs and the background for your final decorated body. With a break for chips, ice-cream and a drink courtesy of Cantina, by the end of the session, you'll have a fully "dressed" crab, presented in an authentic biodegradable food container to take away with you.

In keeping with Cantina's ethos of sustainability, natural, reused, and recycled items will be used to decorate the crabs.

Audience: Maximum 12. No previous experience required. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult.
