English Riviera Visitor Information Centre

The English Riviera BID Company Ltd operates the Award-Winning English Riviera Visitor Information Centre. We are situated on Torquay harbour side with convenient pay and display parking close by.

The English Riviera Visitor Information Centre offers a range of services including a good range of Devon information leaflets, brochures and maps, plus information on local events, theatres, local weather forecasts and visitor attraction information, accommodation booking, theatre and event tickets, bus free attraction discount vouchers. 

The English Riviera Visitor Information Centre is situated on the ground floor making it easily accessible for wheelchair users. There is also a hearing loop, should you require help in this area. Staff can advise on the hire of a mobility scooter, wheelchair or help you to find accessible accommodation.  RADAR keys are also on sale.

In addition we have a range of useful Information Fact Sheets including details of how to get to Greenway House/Agatha Christie’s Holiday Home, Local Tour Guides, Local History, Dancing Venues, Dog Friendly places, Churches, Doctors Surgeries/Health Information, Visitor Attraction Opening Times/Dates and Prices, plus much more …

Our service proudly holds the 2019 Silver South West Tourism Excellence Award  for Visitor Information Centre of the Year, 2019 Gold Visit Devon Award for Visitor Information Service of the Year, 2014 Visit England Silver Award for Visitor Information Provider of the Year and 2014 South West Gold Award for Tourist Information Service of the year in addition to the Visit Britain Partnership Award for Service and Quality. All of our staff undergo ongoing training, including the Welcome English Riviera Customer Service Course, Welcome International and Welcome All.
