Having recently moved to Brixham trying out the local independent public bars. Immediately made to feel welcomed by Hannah, attentive but not intrusive friendly service. Brilliant quay side location with great views. Great beer and ciders at great prices. Would rather give my competitively priced pint to this independent than a national brand. Dog friendly.

I enjoyed thoroughly the experience with the new owners of the sprat and mackerel, they were friendly and enthusiastic and were looking forward to being a successful traditional style pub.the beers and shorts on offer were of a high standard,good luck for the future and see you again soon ,when I am down in Devon.

We arrived in Brixham and found this pub, we tried others but returned as no where else came close to the welcoming atmosphere and wonderful, friendly staff! Can not recommend this pub enough, no trip to brixham is complete without a visit here!
Hannah that has recently taken over is also the best and nothing is too much trouble! 10/10!
