Goodrington

Glorious Goodrington is a very popular place to stay on Devon’s English Riviera with a choice of hotels, inns, bed and breakfasts and self-catering apartments and Devon cottages, surrounding the half a mile of sandy beaches.

This is England’s Seafood Coast and renowned for its fresh fish caught daily at nearby Brixham’s famous fish market. And there is a great choice of eateries for you to try while you enjoy your time on the beach.

The popular Brewers Fayre ‘Inn on the Quay’ is situated in the middle of Goodrington’s beach area and is a relaxed family pub/restaurant serving both classic and international favourites. Perfect for family meals with seating either indoors or in the 2 outdoor seating areas, there is also an indoor children’s play area so they can have fun whilst you relax at your table.

On the edge of the Goodrington Sands North lies Cantina, a family run business offering a friendly and relaxed welcome to all. Specialising in local fish and oven baked pizzas, Cantina is open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner and often open during the winter period too. Cantina is not just a restaurant, as you can have a game of table tennis or badminton on their lawn or play games, do some colouring whilst waiting for your meal. They often have live music during the day and evenings if you want to have a little boogie too!

There are also traditional seaside kiosks where you can buy ice creams and drinks whilst you enjoy your stroll along the promenade.

Parking is easy too at Goodrington – with two car parks - and remember, you can always buy a car park permit for 4 or 8 days from Torbay Council. This will allow you to park in any of their 38 pay and display car parks for free, with no hassle and fear of that dreaded car parking ticket. The permits are valid across the whole of Torbay from Babbacombe, Torquay, Paignton and Brixham and available here.
