The View at The Berry Head Hotel, Brixham
Located high on Brixham’s western side, ‘The View’ offers exactly that… stunning views of Brixham and the rest of The English Riviera! They offer pretty amazing food as well, particularly their mussels which are picked fresh from the seas just below at Elberry Cove. A great option for any romantic dinner on Valentine’s day/weekend.
They are offering two fabulous Valentine’s options. A three-course dinner in the brasserie on Thursday 14 (and other dates) for £20.95pp or a three-course dinner plus coffee in the Restaurant for the Table d’hote Dinner Menu for £30pp.

The Hotel Balmoral, Torquay

Weavers Cottage Tea Shoppe, Torquay
The quaint Weavers Cottage Tea Shoppe, nestled in the heart of Cockington Village, re-opens for the 2019 season on Saturday 9 Feb, just in time for a cheeky little romantic trip. Famous for their light lunches and afternoon teas, they are now expanding the menu to offer ice cream sundaes from their adjacent parlour at Cockington Mill. Why not sneak off with a loved one for an ice cream sundae special in the romantic setting of a chocolate box thatched cottage tea room!?
The Guardhouse Cafe, Brixham
Situated right on Berry Head Nature Reserve, you can see the dramatic scenery below, from the Cafe windows. Add to that winners of Taste of the West’s Best Cafe 17/18 and you’ve got a winning combination.
This year they are opening up in the evening for Valentines day on Thursday 14 and also Friday 15. Don’t forget to book in advace and bring a torch, as its get very dark!
On offer is a delicious 4-course dinner for £30pp which includes baked camembert shared starter and sirloin steak!
Below Decks, Torquay
Below Decks is perfectly positioned right on Torquay Harbour for that picture perfect Valentine’s dinner. Enjoy a special menu in a special location with service as good as any in the Bay.

The Weary Ploughman, Brixham
Join the Feast of Saint Valentine at The Weary Ploughman in Brixham. A delightful 4-course meal which starts with a bang as you're served a champagne cocktail!
Originally built as The Railway Hotel in the 1800s, the Inn sits next to Churston Station on the Paignton to Kingswear steam railway line. There have been a few name changes over the years and, just prior to being The Weary Ploughman, it was known as the Churston Links Hotel. At one time it was used as the club house for the Churston Golf Club – situated just across the main road.
Las Iguanas, Torquay
