As Summer gets further away and Christmas gets ever closer, it must mean only one thing… grab your gloves and scarves and get out to enjoy a warming bonfire night celebration with some amazing firework display to go with it.

We’ve done the homework for you and listed our top 10 bonfire and firework display nights in Devon for 2018.

  • Sherwell Valley School - 5 November - Reputed to be one of the best displays in the Bay, expect a huge display and lots of hot food stalls to choose from

  • Teignmouth & Shaldon - 3 November - Large display right over the water's edge

  • Lupton House - 3 & 4 November - A fireworks display with a BBQ at this lovely country house

  • Tar Barrels of Ottery St Mary - 5 November - Watch on as locals carry flaming tar barrels through the narrow streets of the village during this old traditional celebration.

  • Exeter Round Table Charity Fireworks - 5 November - Arguably the biggest pyro-musical charity firework display in Devon

  • Galmpton Touring Park - 1 November - A torch procession and a pyrotechnic light display will leave you mesmerized

  • Plymouth Hoe - 5 November - A great display with a stunning backdrop from the top of Plymouth’s famous Hoe.

  • Orestone Manor - 2 November - Three course dinner and firework display

  • Watcombe School - 5 November - Join in the fun at this local school’s community event

  • Kingsweir - November 5 - Join this charity event with a bar, hot dogs and soup all on offer!
