Walnut Lodge is an elegant and beautifully presented Victorian guest house. It is set in an ideal location, in a quiet tree lined avenue, with the Riviera centre, Torre Abbey Gardens, Sea Front and Town Centre a short walk away. Each of our 5 well furnished en suite rooms have a colour TV, hairdryer, clock radio and tea and coffee making facilities. All main transport links are close by, with the train station and coach station within walking distance. Walnut Lodge has a guests' private car park.

Our attractive dining room overlooks the patio and provides a perfect setting to enjoy our breakfast buffet. Walnut Lodge has a full food and hygiene certificate. Torquay is part of the English Riviera's designated UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) Global Geopark, meaning it marks single, unified geographical areas where sites and landscapes of international geological significance are managed with a holistic concept of protection, education and sustainable development.  With its spectacular coastline and outstanding natural beauty, you can see why it received such accreditation.  Torquay is also a real Devon foodie town, part of England’s Seafood Coast with a delicious selection of the freshest fish and seafood on offer from the nearby fish market.  There are eateries galore and even a top Michelin star restaurant, The Elephant.
