About

Tradewinds is a charming dog friendly fisherman’s’ cottage tucked away in a quiet passage one minutes walk to the harbourside. Its location is excellent; a real crow’s nest perched over Brixham offering an intimate view of the water’s edge.

The cottage is brimming with charm and character including historic sea charts, exposed stone walls and old beams as well as being comfortable,  light, bright and airy.  Tradewinds is built over four levels with two bedrooms (the master with king size bed and second bedroom twin beds) both enjoying superb harbour and sea views.

Brixham has a beautiful harbour and marina as well as beaches and scenic walks where you may see seals, dolphins and sea birds. Around the harbour there are also a wealth of  fantastic independent cafes and restaurants as well as cosy pubs and vibrant shops.

Within walking distance there are small coves as well as sandy beaches for you to enjoy, some with water sports. The property is also perfectly positioned to take a ferries across the bay to Torquay or the steam train to Kingswear, and then ferry on to Darthmouth and Totnes. Why not visit Dartmoor to see the wild pony’s or visit the many National Trust properties such as Greenway, Agatha Christie’s house or Coleton Fishacre an amazing arts and crafts house from the jazz age.
