About
The Seadog
A traditional yet chic fisherman's cottage in Brixham with stunning town, harbour and sea views and complimentary use of a beach hut at the nearby Broadsands beach.
Thanks to its setting high above Brixham’s bustling harbour, the first thing that will strike you when you step inside The Seadog is the view. Sink down in the living room’s window seat and you will be captivated by the ever changing view. As the tide ebbs and flows, look across to the cheerful cottages on the other side of the harbour by day and the twinkling lights of the town and harbour by night.
After a day exploring the local delights and filling your lungs full of fresh sea air, what better way to relax than in front of the living flame gas fire in the lounge followed by sinking into the memory foam mattresses with cotton rich bedding. Each of the three bedrooms has a contemporary décor and a spacious feel, in particular the master with its King size bed and not to forget - that view from the bay window.
When the fresh sea air beckons, step outside to the front terrace and enjoy the afternoon sun and watch the goings on in 'Fishtown'. Brixham’s harbour and town centre is within walking distance and you will find the heritage site of Berry Head National Nature Reserve via the South West Coast Path, and ferry boats that take passengers the short journey across the bay to Torquay throughout the year.
A stay at The Seadog includes the complimentary use of a beach hut on Broadsands beach which is equipped with buckets and spades, chairs and sunloungers.
