We focus on old-fashioned hospitality, clean comfortable rooms and beautifully presented, home-cooked food made with the best local ingredients available.
The Norwood is a friendly, family run guest house where visitors are cared for in high class accommodation.
The Norwood is located in the popular Belgravia area, a short walk from the beach, the town centre, the Riviera International Conference Centre, Torre Abbey and the Princess Theatre.
We pride ourselves on living up to its Visit England/AA 4 Star Guest Accommodation rating, providing the comfort, amenities and hospitality we hope will complement your stay in Torquay.
You can be assured of a warm welcome at The Norwood, where the comfort of our guests is our priority. We offer home cooked food in our dining room and we cater for special dietary requirements by prior arrangement.

Food and Drink - The Norwood Guesthouse prides itself on providing wholesome quality meals, sourcing local produce when available.
We cater for vegetarians and those with food allergies such as coeliacs. Let us know if you have special dietry needs. We endeavour to provide low-fat, low-sodium meals without compromising taste. Torquay also has a growing reputation for its restaurant scene, with a variety of cuisine from around the globe, from the humblest takeaway to the finest Michelin Star eatery - Torquay has it all!
The Norwood has been awarded the highest Food Hygiene Rating of 5.
