The English Riviera is a great place for families to visit. Not only does it boast some of the warmest sea water temperatures in the UK; there are also plenty of fantastic family friendly beaches, attractions and events to enjoy. With so much on offer across the English Riviera it is no wonder why families keep coming back year after year! Explore some of our top family friendly events here.

Children's Week

Children's Week is a fantastic festival that runs annually during the summer holidays. Designed for children, it offers a range of activities and events, including workshops, performances and games. There are also storytelling sessions and arts and crafts activities available.

Pirate Festival

The Pirate Festival is a family-friendly weekend of pirate fancy dress and live music. The event is based in Brixham Harbour, with much of the town getting involved in the festivities, and being taken over by seafaring scallywags. There’s plenty of pirate-themed activities for kids and everybody gets dressed up as a pirate - in fact, if you venture into Brixham on Pirate Festival weekend in everyday clothes, you're likely to stand out!

English Riviera Airshow

The English Riviera Airshow is a family friendly event which attracts thousands of people to the English Riviera’s seafront every year. Expect to see aircraft displays and flypasts, including the Red Arrows, as well as many other thrilling displays, a funfair and food and drink stalls.
