World Chocolate Day on The English Riviera

Sunday 7th July is World Chocolate day, so what better reason could there be to indulge in some chocolate tasting to satisfy that sweet tooth with a trip to some of the English Rivera’s finest local produce:

Ella’s, Chocolate Café, Brixham

You’ll find chocolate heaven at this town centre-based chocolate themed café serving an excellent range of drinks, delicacies and homemade cakes including Death by Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Soup, Chocolate All Day Breakfast and the Indulgent Chocolate Afternoon Tea. Learn the history, craft and techniques of chocolate-making at a series of workshops held at the café. 

Cockington Chocolate Company, Torquay

Angels Tea Room, Babbacombe

A traditional English tea room in a spectacular location overlooking Babbacombe Downs and a quaint garden courtyard. Angels serves a variety of delicious hot chocolate drinks with dark or white chocolate melted into hot milk, marshmallows and scrumptious whipped cream. A mouth-watering experience.

The View Restaurant & Bar, Goodrington

When you’re at the seaside, an ice-cream is almost compulsory. Relax in the sunshine and enjoy the stunning views from the terrace at this popular spot, next to Splashdown Quaywest water adventure park. Try a Marshfield Ice Cream made with delicious Devon produce and hot cookie dough.  There’s an impressive range of sundaes and desserts to tempt you.
