Catch and Cook

Get your sea legs ready for this culinary adventure. You’ll be taken on an early morning boat trip mackerel fishing, and once you’ve reeled in your catch it’s off to Occombe Farm where'll you'll be able to cook it yourself. Never fear, as help is on hand in the shape of the sous-chef from Torquay’s Michelin-starred Elephant Restaurant who will give you a seafood prep demonstration. Great for Bear Grylls wannabes.

Mussels by Moonlight

Another chance to get out on a boat, this time as the sun sets. The trip will take you along the coastline at dusk and past the Brixham Mussel Farm. Before your very eyes a hearty feast of local mussels will be prepared by an excellent local chef and you’ll be able to tuck in as the moon is rising. Great for families.

Canoe the Coves

A canoeing adventure from Brixham exploring the inlets and coves of the coastline accompanied by a marine ranger. You’ll get to practise – or learn – canoeing techniques and discover the hidden delights of the Geopark. Great for active holiday makers.

Coasteering

You’ll be negotiating overhangs and traverses then throwing yourself into the sea on this energetic day out at Anstey's Cove, near the base of the epic Sanctuary Wall climbing spot. Great for adventurers.
