Days out in Babbacombe can be taken up with peaceful strolls around the small and tranquil village, which is dotted with independent shops, boutiques, cosy tearooms and exciting attractions. There are also a host of pretty coastal and woodland walks to choose from offering spectacular views and a treasure trove of hidden coves and tranquil settings.
The two beautiful golden and unspoiled beaches of Oddicombe and Babbicome are host to all sorts of water sports from fishing to jet skiing and also provide visitors with the perfect setting to lie back and take in the relaxing and peaceful surroundings.
A step back in time
As well as the many sights and stunning settings to enjoy there are also plenty of charismatic attractions to explore, including the popular Babbacombe Model Village, which features thousands of miniature buildings encapsulating the essence of all things British. Built in 1926 the Babbacombe Cliff Railway is also a popular attraction, providing passengers with spectacular vistas as it travels up and down the 240-foot cliff face to Oddicombe beach.
