The English Riviera Tourism Company operates the main Visitor Information Centre in Torquay which is ideally situated on Torquay’s vibrant harbourside and is open all year round with convenient parking close by. The service proudly holds the 2014 Visit England Silver Award for Visitor Information Provider of the Year, 2013 Gold Visit Devon Award and 2014 South West Gold Award for Tourist Information Service of the year in addition to the Visit Britain Partnership Award for Service and Quality, and all our staff undergo ongoing training, including the Welcome English Riviera customer service course.
The office is situated on the ground floor, with electronic doors making it easily accessible for wheelchair users. There is also a hearing loop, should you require help in this area. The staff can also advise on the hire of a mobility scooter, wheelchair or find you accessible accommodation to make your stay more pleasant.
The Visitor Information Centre offers a large range of services including accommodation booking, theatre and event tickets, bus and coach tickets including National Express and free attraction discount vouchers.
